Problem discovery
Why a brand is invisible in AI answers
Discover solutions for visibility issues in AI answer engines by measuring the prompts buyers actually ask, then inspecting the site and the cited sources. This page lists problems Meridian can observe. It does not claim that publishing this page will increase citations.
Problems Meridian is built to surface
- The brand is not mentioned on commercially relevant buyer prompts.
- The brand is mentioned but not recommended when the question is a buying question.
- Competitors occupy the answer because the competitive set in the prompt suite was incomplete or outdated.
- The site is hard to retrieve: missing XML sitemap, missing Organization or Product schema, thin HTML text, or pages that only exist after JavaScript runs.
- The page does not answer the prompt the engine was asked, so the action plan points at coverage gaps rather than at a generic content calendar.
How diagnosis works
After you confirm the company profile, Meridian generates a prompt suite, benchmarks configured engines, crawls the website, maps sources and gaps, and scores GEO. Recommendations are evidence-linked. We do not treat a single technical change as proof that an engine will start recommending you.
See the FAQ for definitions, the method for the workflow, and GEO audit software if you are choosing a tool.
